N6022 decreased NFκB activity in the lungs. OVA-sensitized mice were treated with a single i.v. dose of either N6022 or PBS vehicle administered 24 h prior to MCh challenge which was one hour prior to the last OVA airway challenge. Nuclear proteins were extracted from lung homogenates and tested for their ability to bind to the DNA consensus sequence for NFκB DNA via immunoassay as a measure of NFκB function.
