Changes to TGF- β signalling in bleomycin-treated segments. Levels of TGF- β protein were measured by ELISA using BAL samples from bleomycin-treated segments. The samples were taken at several key time points: baseline, or pre-bleomycin treatment, 2 weeks post-bleomycin and 6 weeks post-bleomycin.
