  2. Adjusted for age, education, smoking, physical activity, waist circumference, diastolic blood pressure, triglycerides, fasting plasma glucose, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and medications (aspirin and/or lipid lowering medication)
  3. Arterial stiffness: brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) ≥1400 cm/s
