  1. Age: mean age of patients hospitalized or not. Lenght from Diagnosis: years since diagnosis of asthma. Time lapse < 6 h: less than 6 h between symptoms onset and ED admission. 6–24 h: 6 to 24 h between symptoms onset and ED admission. > 24 h: more than 24 h between symptoms onset and ED admission. SaO2 < =94: pulse oximetry at ED visit less than 94% on air (FiO2 21%). Respiratory rate ≥ 18/min: respiratory rate more than 18 acts per minute
