Intranasal administration of rmIL-22 attenuated OVA-induced eosinophil recruitment into the airways. Recombinant mouse IL-22 (0.2 µg per mouse) or PBS was given intranasally to OVA-induced animals three times in total at 24 h before the inhaled OVA challenge.
