Dynamic changes in morphology, marker expression, and function of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) as they differentiate into endothelial-like cells after standard induction. A Induced MSCs retained a spindle-shaped morphology until day 3 and looked similar to rat aortic endothelial cells (ECs) after 14 days of induction (× 100). B vWF was detectable after 14 days of induction. However, we found only marginal expression of vWF in undifferentiated MSCs (× 400).
