A2aR and baicalin ameliorated pulmonary ultrastructural changes in the BLM mouse model. The ultrathin sections were observed under a Hitachi H-7500 transmission electron microscopy (10,000×). Control groups show little change in ultrastructure; model groups indicate destruction of alveolar epithelial cells and deposition of collagen fibers; baicalin groups exhibit obvious ultrastructural improvement. The ultrastructure of KO mice is more severely damaged. Scale bars represent 1 μm
