  1. Eosinophil suspension (2 × 106cells/ml) was incubated for 2, 3 or 4 h with eotaxin (10–1000 ng/ml) or RANTES (10–1000 ng/ml). Each experiment was carried out in triplicate (n = 3). Results are expressed as MTT reduction (% control). *P < 0.05 compared to respective untreated cells.
