DA (%): percentage of patients with previous asthma diagnosis. ≥1 ED admission (%): percentage of patients with more than one ED admission in the last 12 months. SaO2% (SD): mean pulse oximetry at ED visit. Respiratory rate (SD): mean values of respiratory rate at ED visit. Pulse rate (SD): mean values of pulse rate at ED visit. Years from diagnosis (SD): numbers of years since the diagnosis of asthma. ED admission code (%): index of disease severity (green: low severity; yellow: medium severity; red: emergency). Inability to complete a sentence (%): percentage of people who could not complete a sentence due to dyspnea
