  1. Treatments were as follows: cyclophosphamide (250 mg/kg) intraperitoneally on the day before the 1st and 3rd challenges (CTX-IPA); hydrocortisone (62.5 mg/kg) subcutaneously every other day, from 5 days before infection (d-5) to the day after infection (d + 1)(HC-IPA);
  2. Mice were infected intranasally with 50 μL (1 × 108conidia/mL) of A. fumigatus spore suspension. The groups of control received 50 μL of phosphate buffer saline (PBS). Blood samples were collected from four mice per group at the indicated days post-infection
