  1. Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score, blood lactate level, and arterial partial oxygen pressure / FIO2 (P/F) ratio were calculated from the values at ICU admission. Ve is a minute ventilation volume measured at the exhaust port and the values are expressed as BTPS (body temperature, pressure, water vapor saturated)
