Classification of sampling methods for submitted specimens. A total of 572 samples were biopsied by five methods: transbronchial biopsy (TBB), endobronchial ultrasound with real-time guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA), surgical biopsy, fluid sample, computed tomography (CT)-guided biopsy, and others. The success rate of NGS analysis is shown as a percentage, where “Total” is the percentage of success for both DNA-based and RNA-based NGS, “DNA” indicates the success rate of DNA-based NGS, and “RNA” indicates the success rate of RNA-based NGS. The dashed line represents the number of samples for re-genome biopsy
