Brain MR DWI sequence of case 6, showed a patchy high signal in the bilateral thalamus and periventricular white matter, and a low signal in the right thalamic lesion, considering bleeding. The patient was diagnosed with necrotizing encephalopathy. Following admission, there were complications of central respiratory failure and circulatory failure, necessitating basic life support through mechanical ventilation and high-dose vasoactive drugs. Despite treatment, there was no improvement, and ultimately, the parents chose to discontinue treatment, leading to the patient’s demise
