Vitamin D improves PM-exposed lung histopathological inflammation in asthmatic mice. Thirty-two female mice were randomly assigned to the Control group, Asthma group, Asthma + PM group, or Asthma + PM + Vit D group. (a) Schematic illustration of the mouse modeling process.
