ROC curves for prediction of the presence of MetS in all subjects with suspected OSA. The area under ROC curves was observed for visceral adiposity index. (AUC = 0.836, 95 % CI: 0.797–0.875, p = 0.000). A VAI of 2.282 had a sensitivity of 68.5 % and a specificity of 86.7 % in determining the occurrence of MetS.
